100 YEARS: A Celebration Of Southern Gospel Music
This DVD, recorded live at the National Quartet Convention in 2010, features many of Southern Gospel's best known groups in a very special presentation that reflects the past century of great music. The DVD contains the following message describing this great event:
"It all began with a heritage that is rooted in amazing and moving harmonies and conveys a strong message of the Love of God. The songs chosen and performed for this monumental event will take you back to an era that should never be forgotten and move you forward with the hope that the foundation of this great genre of music will not fade away. Instead, it grows stronger with every passing year.
"Norman Holland (Vice President and A & R Director for Daywind Records) shares, 'This live recording was not just an event, it was truly a labor of love. I have spent my entire adult life thoroughly entrenched in Southern Gospel music and have been a lifelong fan myself.
