LEFEVRE QUARTET - Ascending

When you think of Gospel music, the LeFevre name is one that instantly springs to mind. In 1921, the original LeFevre Trio began traveling and singing across the United States, quickly setting the standard for quality and professionalism in ministry in what would become known as Southern Gospel music. For decades, the LeFevres blazed new trails in Gospel music, turning out songs and singers that would go on to become legends in the genre. Entering the new millennium, the LeFevre Quartet became a breakout artist, earning a Dove Award nomination and a number of fan-voted awards.

It takes more than just a legendary name to gain the recognition that this group has attracted, but with their stellar vocals, high energy performances and a heart for ministry, this combination of talent is one that won’t soon be forgotten. Vocally, today’s quartet members are Mike LeFevre, his son, Jordan, as well as Jeremy Peace and Keith Plott. Jeremy has been with the group for over three years, while Keith joined as bass singer over a year ago.

The LeFevre Quartet strives to reach the masses with a message of hope, grace and salvation through Christ. Their first radio song released from this album, "Sun's Gonna Come Up," is a great reminder of God's faithfulness. Debuting on the Singing News Top 40 chart, its words, penned by Lee Black and Scott Inman, provide a timely message of hope that is much needed today. "I'll See You At The House" is a reassuring message for any Christian who's lost a Christian loved one. Produced by Wayne Haun, the songs of “Ascending” feature the LeFevre Quartet at their very best and are sure to brighten up your day.
