Multi-award-winning Booth Brother, Michael Booth is releasing his first solo record with Daywind Records, “Dear Yesterday.” This recording is a collection of outstanding songs written by some of Southern Gospel’s most talented songwriters. Produced by frequent Booth Brothers producer Jason Webb, this recording highlights the strengths of Michael’s voice while pairing it with inspiring messages through the lyrics of great songs.
One of the songs on the album is “He Never Gives Up.” Michael says, “The title says it all. If you've ever looked in the mirror and been disappointed by your life before Christ and realized ‘He hasn't given up on me,’ it's a ... very simple message but very profound. I think that's probably my favorite cut on the album.” Other songs on the album include the first single, “What Only God Can Do,” along with “We Trust In The Name,” “Everyday (It Starts All Over Again)” and the title track, “Dear Yesterday.”
When asked about doing a solo project alongside of his work with the Booth Brothers, Michael says, “It’s fun. I think anybody that's in a group enjoys a little bit of kind of doing your thing the way you want to. Some of it is challenging because you're so used to the dynamics of the group. When you're doing your own thing, you have to do it all. ... So it was a good challenge for me and I enjoyed it.” Join Michael Booth for a new, solo selection of songs on “Dear Yesterday.”
